- To submit applications to carriers you choose to apply with
- To check in about your policy — such as your annual coverage review
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never share your details with other agents or marketing lists. Submitting a quote request here will not trigger calls from third parties — the only people who will ever contact you are Summit Shield advisors.
Sharing with carriers
If you decide to apply for a policy, we share your application information with the insurance carrier you selected — that's a necessary part of underwriting. Carriers handle your data under their own privacy policies, which we'll point you to before you apply.
Data retention & your rights
We keep client records for as long as needed to service your policy and meet insurance record-keeping regulations. You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where regulation allows) at any time.
